When my husband and I were in prison ministry we were living by faith.
This particular night we had nothing for dinner, and I had been praying for God to supply our dinner when suddenly the phone rang. On the end of the phone was a German lady that we had never met. The lady said “I know you have started your dinner but could you set it aside and come to my house for dinner.” She went on to say that she had invited a family of five to dinner and the had cancelled at he last minute. We were a family of five. My children’s teacher had given the lady our phone number. When we arrived we had never seen a table loaded with so much food.. At the end of the night the lady asked if we would mind taking home all the leftovers. The food we took home lasted until we got some more money. came in.
