“God is faithful when we pray for our family!”
I’d tried talking to my Dad about salvation, but he was put off by his Anglican church minister who told him she didn’t believe in being born again. After that, he didn’t want to know. Years later, my Dad had a heart attack & the doctor said he was dying. So I spoke to him about what Easter was all about, and why Jesus had to die on the Cross. Despite celebrating Easter all his life, he’d never ever heard the reason explained before, that Jesus had died to pay for our sins. He prayed the ‘Sinners Prayer’, then he dropped off to sleep. What I didn’t realise was that he had actually slipped into a coma. Those were his last words before he passed away. God is faithful when we pray for our family!
