Healed of Rheumatoid Arthritis
I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 2009. A challenging couple of years followed on a various medication. I prayed for healing in my body. I continued to struggle with my young family. My children were 9, 6, 4 and 1 at the time. I had no energy and my fingers and ankles were very stiff. My knees were very painful and I could only go up and down stairs one step at a time.I went to a few different prayer meetings about healing but the r.a. continued to effect my body. In 2012 I went to a meeting on prayer ministry. Someone had a word of knowledge about pain in the knees. I went forward for prayer. My whole body was filled with energy and I trembled. My fingers tingled as the Holy Spirit filled me. (I am quite reserved and this was a new experience for me). After the prayer I felt very energised and there was less pain. By the following week the pain had returned but my energy levels were good. I could go for a coastal walk for the first time in a couple of years. I had been too tired previously. I continued to prayer for healing in my body. I skyped Bethel healing rooms in USA and managed to get through after a few weeks of trying. They prayed and asked my son to pray who was in the room with me. Again I felt energised and pain relief. From this point my husband prayed for me everyday that I would be healed and not have pain in my joints. After a few weeks I realised that I was not stiff when I stood up and I was not sore walking. My wrists stopped hurting and I gradually came off medication. I have now been off medication for 8 years. I returned to teaching when my youngest daughter was 5 and I recently went to Kenya with my family to teach for a year. These things have been possible because God heard my prayers and he answered them. Praise God.
