My father was rushed in to hospital whilst we were away on holiday overseas. His oxygen levels were dangerously low and his condition was deteriorating. We thought this may be a reoccurrence of Legionnaires’ disease, from a few months earlier, or doctors suggested dengue fever. My boyfriend, mother and myself prayed for a miracle and for dad to make a recovery and go home safe. He spent four days in hospital and we visited him every day with food and bedding. He kept his sense of humour throughout. After four days he started to recover. He came back home to the UK and made a full recovery. His condition was still unknown but I prayed that my father would be there to walk me down the aisle one day. Less than two years later, he did just that. God is good.
